Zebra Loop Handle Cans have some-thing of a cult following. They are used as billy cans by survival instructors, bushcraft enthusiasts, wild campers, woodsmen and backpackers, worldwide.
Made of high quality stainless steel, these pots come with an inner bowl which can either be used to keep the contents separate or to eat out of. They also have a notched handle which makes them very suitable for hanging over an open fire. I think they were originally designed as oriental lunch pails, as mine came with plastic clips to lock the lid shut. These obviously must be removed before heating to prevent the pot exploding.
I tried the 2.5 litre hanging from a stick over a campfire and the 1.5 litre on my Honey Stove - both boiled quickly and cleaned easily. Zebra have gained another fan!
