Our author of The Unselfish Spirit: Human Evolution In a Time of Global Crisis is appearing at Hay Festival on 21st May 2015.
Mick Collins - the author - will be interiewed by Andy Middleton at 7pm at the festival, discussing his book.
Mick is a lecturer in Occupational Therapy and a Director of Admissions within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of East Anglia. His award winning book is an essential 21st century guide to unlocking the secrets of how we as a race can collectively grow our consciousness to solve the complex web of challenges that threaten life on Earth.
The Unselfish Spirit draws inspiration from diverse fields such as cosmology, new biology and quantum physics, offering theories, real-life stories and at the end of each chapter, a chance to reflect. It is a pathway to evolving entirely new ways of living creatively and harmoniously as a species.
Mick and his book have won a series of accolades, one being the 2014 Scientific and Medical Network Book Prize.
Mick was also chosen as one of four authors 'in profile' at the 2014 Hostry Festival in Norwich.
