Putting Grasslands to Work - Savory Institute Conference

The Savory Institute annual conference is being held in London, exploring the importance of the world's grasslands. Keynote speakers include Allan Savory, Darren Doherty, Joel Salatin and many more.

The Savory Institute is holding its 2014 international conference in London, from 1st-2nd August.

The Institute's prime objective is highlighting the world's grasslands for their immense environmental value and unprecedented beauty and getting all races and cultures to be aware and engaged in its importance.

Allan Savory, founder of the Savory Institute uses methods involving practical, achievable farming/management procedures, applicable and viable for those tending the land and accompanying grazing livestock to heal our world.

From Africa to Patagonia, the U.S. to the Middle East, the groundbreaking techniques gained from his many years observing the vast grazing herds on Africa's grasslands have been honed and made relevant for sites around the globe.

The conference is packed with unprecedented speakers and presenters. Dynamic experts in the fields of soil science, climate change, permaculture, range science, local food movement, human health, conservation biology and alternative finance will present their views. These world renowned experts include Patrick Holden of the Sustainable Food Trust, celebrity farmer Joel Salatin, permaculture consultant Darren Doherty, and soil scientist Elaine Ingham, and author Judith Schwartz.

Holistic Management sits firmly focused at the centre -­ linking everything together.

The conference will be hosted at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotelat and Conference Centre in Central London. A 5-star venue situated close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge in the heart of historic London. Lunch is included in the ticket price, as well as teas and coffees, plus a drink voucher for Friday evening.
