Ben Law at Green Architecture Day

Permaculture woodsman, Ben Law, will be speaking at Green Architecture Day in Brighton talking about natural building. Permaculture magazine will also be there so come and say hello.

Permaculture woodsman, and Grand Designs favourite, Ben Law, will be speaking at the annual Green Architecture Day in Brighton, on March 19th.

Ben will be speaking about his design approach to buildings, exploring a resource-first approach, where local and natural resources are key.

Other topics for the day include reusing materials, using natural materials, mimicking natural patterns, building through collaboration and building as art.

Speakers include Duncan Baker-Brown from BBM Sustainable Design, Nicola Lang from Transition Homes Community Land Trust, Michael Mehaffey and Cat Fletcher from Freegle and the Brighton Waste House.

There will also be stalls from Brighton Permaculture Trust and Permaculture magazine along with their books. You will also be able to visit the Brighton Waste House.

Prices for the day range from £40-80 and booking in advance is recommended.
