Last year, GEN hosted their first online summit with thousands of participants from around the globe in response to the IPCC report about the dangerous gap between the Paris Agreements and what is happening on the ground. Life systems are stretched thin and communities are under threat. The future of our children and their children is fragile.

We all know this... that it is time to respond more fully and engage our hearts, minds, hands and souls in the inner and outer transformation that is wanting to take place. We know that it’s not only possible, it’s our duty, as humanity, to move beyond ‘business as usual’ into a process of regeneration. Sometimes, we just need to be reminded.

School Strikes for Climate (also known as Fridays for Future) represents students worldwide who are protesting the lack of government action on climate change by missing school to demonstrate in front of parliaments. Along with Extinction Rebellion, almost 10 million people have striked in 144 countries and also map their actions, encouraging others to join. Inspired by this movement, more groups have sprouted such as Teachers for Future, Parents for Future, Scientists for Future, Farmers for Future, and Artists for Future. GEN is picking up that baton and generating action in communities and municipalities.

Every day, three interviews will be shown online, which you can watch at the time most appropriate for you, without charge. Through local hubs, bringing like minded people together, GEN will invite participants to explore how they can go beyond the Summit to build more community and lasting resilience in the face of climate change.

To see the full list of speakers and which interviews are live at any given time, visit Here you can also register to be invited to view the videos, receive daily information, updates, and be included in discussions about the summit.
