This year we launched the first Permaculture Magazine Prize that will award £10,000 for the winning project and £2,500 each for four runner up projects. These projects have been established for over three years and clearly demonstrate how the practical application of permaculture can change lives, alleviate poverty and regenerate landscapes and communities. Watch this space!
We received 152 applications from across the globe and the judging process was tough, as there were so many incredible projects making such positive change. The applications were pared down to a shortlist of 20 before choosing the five winners. For information on the judges, visit: www.permaculture.co.uk/articles/permaculture-prize-2018
