How to Make Your Own Hoe For Free

Here is an incredibly simple method for making your own hoe from recycled materials.

Eric lives in California and uses a local grass stem (Giant Reed, Arundo donex) for the hoe handle, as it grows in abundance. However bamboo or wooden dowel would also work.

He reuses metal tape he finds in skips and inner tubes from his bicycle. These are just examples of the materials Eric has available. You could easily replace these with materials you can find.

Eric's hoe has two heads, and effectively gets rid of weeds.
