Dive into the dawn chorus, listen to the birdsong on doorsteps across the UK and visit the groundbreaking Knepp Estate and its inhabitants.
Nina Constable, creator of the Wild World series that encouraged us to reconnect with Nature through the first lockdown in 2020, gives us a spcial spring episode. Here she shares a gorgeous mix of birdsongs that we can all learn from our doorsteps, as well as taking us to the incredible Knepp Estate in Sussex, which has rewilded and intensively farmed 3,500 acres into a haven for wildlife, including rare species like turtle doves, nightingales, peregrine falcons and purple emperor butterflies, all of which are now breeding on the estate.
The team bring us amphibians, badgers, seabirds, and explore the wilder side of Essex.
Nature can be a huge healer, especially when it comes to mental health. The last year has been testing for us all but Nature has always been there to ground us, and connect us with our local environments.
