Maddy Harland is the co-founder and editor of Permaculture magazine and author of Fertile Edges – Regenerating the land, culture and hope.
Her main interests are beekeeping, forest gardening, being on the land, wild places.
For over 30 years Maddy had a buzzing forest garden with no-dig veg beds and bee hives. She has recently moved to a woodland home, with deer and dormice and is excited to learn how to regenerate and conserve this new landscape.
“For me, permaculture is more than an ecological design system, for me it is a way of seeing and understanding the world as a whole and responding to it. It is a way of life.”
